Never even heard of it before, where can I download it?

Finally got it working perfectly! My previous PC is not powerful enough
BTW, anyone know if there is any HD Texture project for MGS Twin Snakes?
I found this on a Hong Kong discussion forum. It only showed a screenshot through.
But the face of Solid Snake look much better than the the sad face from original Twin Snakes:

Attached are the photos of comparison. I will keep an eye on this forum to see if they will update more textures.
Is there a working widescreen patch or fix for this game? Forcing it in the graphics plugin creates a weird mirrored effect, but is generally okay in-game, but in cutscenes creates a ton of issues and artifacts.
Did this game go through some extreme slow downs recently? I was using 4.0-19xx and was getting full speed with 2x native IR but after using 4.0-2667, the game needed to be set to 1x native to obtain the same speed.

You are confusing shader cache hiccups with bad performance, with your specs you shouldn't have any issues at all even when using enhancements. That or you messed up the default settings bad. Shader cache might regenerate when you update dolphin.
It seems it was a vsync issue. Before exclusive fullscreen was implanted, I used to leave vsync off. Now that fullscreen uses exclusive fullscreen, I have to enable vsync to rid of the tearing, but vsync seems to cause huge slowdowns in MGS: TTS.
Dan_Tsukasa: I'll investigate this on console for ya. My gut feeling says that these are UV errors. I don't see the problem in the second screenshot, so I'm going to be using your first screenshot for reference.

I couldn't get your angle, but from thsi one they look identical.
You're definitely allowed to post it here. If you get a downloadable set, even if it's pretty small, I'm sure someone will move your thread to the HD Textures section! Looks great though.

Edit: Looks like another laziness thing, btw, it happens on console too.

The Game works perfect for me. This is an incredible development in the last 12 months i would say. I never had full speed with my 955 BE CPU but now i do. Thank you so much. I played through the whole first disc by now. No crashes or bugs or desynch or whatever and no slowdowns. Just smooth experience. Only when i want to use the nvg/thermal i have to switch efb to ram and i notice an impact in performance. I'm using the Direct3D Backend with multiple resolution setting in fullhd. Got scaled EFB Copy checked and texture filtering plus per-pixel-lightning. 16x AF, no AA (i could use it without a problem i guess). The rest of the settings just standard. How dare they are not putting this jewel into the mgs hd collection. Thanks to the guys from dolphin, so we can enjoy this anyway in HD Smile It is the PAL version for me using 4250 dev build.

Edit: Now finished the game. Finally got the stealth camo Big Grin All went perfect. Only thing i noticed is the real-life video footage before the cqc fight on rex. It was first running at like 4 fps but still synch with liquid speaking and there were slight cut outs on his voice but it turned out to run back at fullspeed during the video and all went fine.

Anyone notice the game slowing down during cutscenes with motion blur ?

The first example I've seen is the elevator scene - FPS drops from steady 50 to 25, even though the video/audio plays correctly. The next cutscene (with the chopper taking off) is displaying in full speed (48-50FPS).

Anyone has any tips for dealing with this ?
It's possible the actual GameCube slows down for certain scenes for dramatic effect.
