Hi!! Finally I could play to this game! I download the last Dolphin version and it works perfect. Audio sync and correct FPS. I play entire game without any crash and error.
I didnt touch anything in dolphin, I let it as it comes in download, except the resolution, the Antialiasing and the anisotropic filter.

I have just tried Twin Snakes on latest version of Dolphin and it is simply great! I enabled 3D Vision as well and observed some glitch when cutscene. May I ask if there is any HD Texture project for MGS Twin Snakes? I think it will look super awesome if there is one.

For me, this is pretty much unplayable, despite being on windows 8 64, which is supposedly supposed to be perfect. The audio issues are just terrible. The stutter in the game's music and gunshots is extremely severe, and yes, that's with the setting from this article. Nothing I do in the settings seems to make it any better.
Because your processor is really slow and awful, you can't expect to play most games in Dolphin at playable speeds.
Well im playing the game just fine (pal version) on a C2D e7600@3.4 ghz and a hd 5770 i didn't see any framedrops it's 50 fps fullspeed everywhere even with texture 2 ram to fix the nvg and thermal, config is like in the wiki and 1080p/3xir. I doubt my 5 year old processor C2D is faster then his AMD FX 6300.
The build im using is the newest Ishiiruka-Dolphin on dx9 but i didn't see mutch difference in performance from the official beta only a few frames more, im also using a x64 version of sweetfx with smaa and a lot of other crap enabled and it still doesn't drop below 50 fps.
So it's proably something else maybe win8 since im on 7.
No, there are Core2duos faster than the AMD FX series, seriously. That's how bad their IPC can be.
I have an asus laptop with a an i5-3230M CPU @ 2.6GHz, 7.89 GB of usable RAM, Nvidia GeForce 660M GTX video card, and windows 8 64 bit OS, is there any way to play the twin snakes with these specs? I tried playing with the newest version default settings but the sound continually stutters, the framerate's kinda slow at about 25 fps but I don't mind that if it means getting the audio to be smoother. Anyone got any config tips for me? Could really use the help.
Did you try a Ishiiruka-Dolphin build? runs the game fullspeed on a 5 year old machine for me.

The sound will be smooth only if you're able to run the game full-speed.
This game is demanding. Your CPU is a bit weak to run this game flawlessly
