I don't know what CPU or GPU you have but the graphics config might have to be different from mines and LLE on thread works best if you have quad-core. Keep Disable Per-Pixel Depth checked or else it slows this game down.

Also, enable Accurate Vbeam emulation by right-clicking the game then checking off the option. This gives a HUGE boost of speed to this game.
Hey guys, does Xaudio+HLE fix the crashes, or do you have to use just LLE? The article conflicts on this. And are there any other audio problems that LLE might fix?

LLE is needed (Dolphin 3.0)

Well, the wiki is geared for the latest version, so how does it fair with something newer? Same?

Don't know. This game has always worked better for me with 3.0 than with something more recent. Might have a look to this though
Yeah, HLE is too inconsistent to use for a smooth hassle-free gaming experience. It crashes at random times during cutscenes, which are important for understanding the MGS story among other reasons. The only time LLE messes up is when real-time footage is played (right after the Ocelot shootout and then before fighting Liquid I think) or if your system is not powerful enough.

Well we know that... But does Xaudio2 fix HLE with newer revisions? We need to get the conflict on the page settled.

EDIT: Meh, I'm going to just go ahead and change it. I never thought HLE can be fixed by Xaudio2, but I can't test it so I wanted to be sure. If anyone tests to the contrary, we'll go from there.

HLE + XAudio may fix sound issues in some games. Not sure for MGS
U guys should try this on the AX HLE branch.
