On that computer, I'm surprised you're hitting full speed at all.

Yes, 100% in most places except ONLY in that area it drops from 30fps to 27fps. I'm using the ishiiruka build.  Big Grin Big Grin
Oh, then we don't give you support anyway since it's not an official build. Go to the ishiiruka thread for support on that.
This game is not running as well as I thought it would. Just got this new computer. It's running Galaxy amazingly but not this game. I think my PC can handle it fine. When I disable frame limit, it goes extremely fast. If I limit it to "audio" to be able to play it, it says consistently at 25 fps. But, it's clearly a little sluggish. I have this game on PS4 and I can tell Dolphin is running it slowly.

I compared it to a video of someone on YouTube with a worse processor and his runs fine. The voices when they enter the mansion sound fine for him, on mine they sound like they are talking slow.

PC specs are on my profile. I'm running the very latest version.

I'm running it with default settings. Default resolution, etc. It's got to be something other than my PC because when I turn it up to 1080 it runs the same.
By the way, about that bug in the wiki: "Jill's final videos (flyaway and credits) play normally only in the best ending. Other endings drop squares and may hang the emulator. "

I finished the game and got all the endings and I didn't encounter that issue. It was probably fixed already and no one removed it from the wiki.

Guys, I'm experiencing an annoying, but not game breaking, problem. When camera angles switch, it causes what looks to be a few frames to be skipped/dropped, and then the frame rate immediately returns to 30FPS. My audio is set to HLE. I have tried checking and unchecking all boxes- reducing AF to 1x and AA to 0, changing res to only 1x- nothing seems to alleviate the problem except enabling XFB and setting it to "real." (virtual still results in the same issue). At that point, everything will work perfectly, but obviously doesn't look as good since that option forces the lowest resolution. I experienced the same issue using OpenGL with OpenSuse Linux.

This problem manifests in both OpenGL and D3d.

Interestingly, the problem exists in even older 4.0 versions, but does not in Dolphin 3.0x versions that were laying around my HDD.

Anybody else know how to fix this or has dealt with this?

Specs:
Windows 7 x_64 and OpenSuse Linux
GTX 980 Ti with latest drivers
i7 2600k @ 4.4 Ghz
16Gb Crucial Ram @ 1600 mhz
7200 RPM 1TB HDD (with OS partition on 128GB Crucial SSD)

EDIT:

Found the problem: G-Sync. Set to "fixed refresh rate" for Dolphin in the Nvidia control panel and no longer have the issue.
