Hey all, brand new to the forums but I'm in desperate need of some help!

Basically, when I play MHTri I get god-awful slowdown (30FPS and below everywhere, not just the town or with multiple monsters on screen).

I also get really juttery audio, but I'm assuming that comes with the terrible FPS. I really want to know the optimal configuration for this game, my nostalgia can't hold on much longer Sad

I've scoured the net, including a bunch of youtube videos and whatnot, tried multiple different settings and all to no avail.

I would greatly appreciate any help anyone can give to me, its extremely frustrating because I feel like my PC is more than enough to handle it at max settings.

Here are my specs:

Windows 7 Ultimate (x64)
AMD Phenom II X6 1100T Processor (with 6 CPUs) ~3.3GHz
16GB of RAM
DirectX11
2x AMD Radeon HD 7870s (Crossfired)
Dolphin 4.0-1609 (but I have tried a few others, including 3.5)

Thank you!
This is a 30 fps game, so 30 fps is full speed. Your computer is fairly outdated, which means running this game full speed may not be possible.

That's kind of what's annoying me, it runs at 30FPS solid in a few places but everything is still slow-mo and my audio is choppy as all hell.

Anyw ay, thanks heaps for the reply!
You probably have some kind of hack or option on that screws up the timings, making the game not run correctly.

I'll have a look through my options.

Thanks again for the help!
Okay.
I just got Xenoblade Chronicles. And I thought of using game ini files for individual settings but when I did that for monster hunter the game just turned black. I could still see interface prompts like when talking to NPC's and map transitions but the NPC's, environment or your character aren't shown. I could easily run this game before on 100% - 90% game speed at 30fps before I used ini files.

So, I'm wondering what did I do wrong?

Here's my game config file:
[OnFrame_Enabled]
$Bloom OFF
[Core]
GFXBackend = OGL
CPUCore = 1
DSPHLE = True
DSPThread = True
MMU = True
[DSP]
Backend = OpenAL
[Video_Settings]
EFBScale = 3
SafeTextureCacheColorSamples = 128
AspectRatio = 0
MSAA = 0
UseXFB = False
FastDepthCalc = True
EnablePixelLighting = False
OMPDecoder = True
[Video_Hacks]
EFBToTextureEnable = True
EFBCopyEnable = False
EFBCopyCacheEnable = False
EFBScaledCopy = True
[Video_Enhancements]
ForceFiltering = True
MaxAnisotropy = 0

Here's my setup
Operating System: Windows 7 x64
Processor/CPU: AMD FX 6300 @ 3.5 GHz
Video Card/GPU: AMD Radeon HD 7850
Memory/RAM: 2 x 4 GB Corsair @ 1866 MHz
Dolphin Revision: 4.0-1816 @ x64

EDIT: I found it. It had the EFB thing conflicted where it didn't know whether to be on Texture or RAM

I have a lag issue with this game, it used to run fine so I was able to play up until the great jaggi quest but once I got near him it lagged to death, now after trying out a billion different versions it just lags alltogether, tryed both direct x 9 and 11 with no difference, unlocked the frame rate but nothing seems to work, just lags out once Iget into the village now, skip EBF access on of course, I have nothing more I can try :/

Pc specs : AMD bulldozer fx 6300 @ 4.0 GHz 6 core
Nvidia gtx 650 2gb
8gb ram
dolphin - 4.0 - 1786 and 3.5, 3.0,

would appreciate any help x
just use the 4.0 stable build this game runs perfectly on it with these settings for me i can crank up the ir res and full AA with no frame drop issues at all.

general:enable dulecore, enable idle skipping.framlimit audio and jit recompiler

graphics: backend open GL
enhancements: scale efb copy
hacks: skip efb access from cpu,ignore format change, efb copys texture,texture cache fast,external framebuffer disabled,fast depth calculation and openMP texture decoder
dsp settings: HLE dsound

hope this helps

Logitech F710 doesnt work for some reason, though it works perfectly fine with Muramasa.
What do I do wrong?

I'm having serious issues with the game and dolphin emulator.
I just got the game yesterday and I tried to config the controls but the game does not register any input of any kind (not even keyboard inputs)
and I have no idea why it won't register my inputs.
please say that somebody knows what's wrong with this
