Hello! I want to play Tales of Symphonia: Dawn of the New World, but I've never played a Wii game before so I need some help with the controls.

I started playing it with a keyboard and mouse, and it generally works well, but I couldn't move at all when a battle happened. Does it require motion controls? I also have a generic xbox 360 style controller. Is there a way to map keyboard/mouse/controller so that I could comfortably play this game, or should I buy a Wiimote with a Nunchuk? If I buy it, should I also get a sensor bar, or does the game work without it?
When starting a new game, and it asks for Tales of Symphonia Gamecube file for a extra bonus, is there a way to have Dolphin Wii read my Gamecube savefile? I can't find any option in Dolphin to insert a GC memory card into the Wii.
Inserting a GameCube memory card into a Wii in Dolphin works exactly like inserting a GameCube memory card into a GameCube in Dolphin. It's done in the GameCube tab of the general configuration.
Thanks. Silly me, at the prompt all I had to do was press A. It found my save no problem.

Hello all,
Dolphin is a great tool to play many games, since im not console gamer.
After finishing Tales of Symphonia, i looked for this sequel, wich looks interesting story wise.

I got a ISO version of game that have Japanese Audio with English Texts, and im ok with it. However the great issue comes when PLaying Skits, they go out of sync!! Animations go faster than audio.
I found another ISO to happen the same issue.

Have tested many configs and versions of Dolphin from 3.0 until 5.0 last revs and neither looks to find a solve to this, even when the rest runs almost 100% perfect.

Specs on my Profile, if any doubt.

If you want to fix your issues, stop "finding" random ISOs and start dumping the game from your own disc.

Why got banned? Looks like an automatic filter is so strict... please be friendly!

However, I came here again to mention an issue with vulkan engine. When playing on my TV connected via HDMI erratic horizontal black lines appears.
Will write on another post if not belong here

Aaand ban evasion! We'll do an even stricter ban next, so please abide by the ban term.
The skits going out of sync is a bug with the undub patch fwiw.
