His 760 is overclocked
It didn't need to be overclocked to run it in Dualcore mode. I ran Melee in Single Core most of the time for Netplay Purposes.
I just came to conclusion that something is indeed wrong with my PC. Carash Bandicoot The Wrath of Cortex - the game I used to be able to play at full speed runs like 40% of speed instead of 100%.
Please help me what should I do with my PC?
Your computer is plenty strong for dolphin in most cases, so I'm not surprised something is a bit off. One of the things I'd really recommend is simply cleaning out the entire computer with an air compressor. If that doesn't help, update all your drivers. If that doesn't help, reinstall Windows. I really don't know what could be wrong, it could be anything. From something silly to something serious.
i7 4770K, @3.50ghz , win7 UT 64bit , 12 GB , GTX 460
this is a fresh bulid of windows running @1920X1080p , what settings should i use ? planning on having a 3 way with this on the weekend
thinking of using 4.1
This game doesn't need any special settings to run. The only things that are of concern would be Internal Resolution, Anti-Aliasing, and probably the Widescreen Hack. You can safely set your AF to 16x though, it has an unmeasurable performance cost; it's that low, so set it as high as you like. IR and AA, just play around with them until you find what works best for you. If you set them too high, you'll bottleneck your GPU and get slowdowns; that's when you know to turn it down.
Can someone please point me to a link/FAQ/Guide that applies to running Melee on Dolphin 4.1? I haven't run Dolphin since 3.0 and I don't remember much about configuring it. I want to get this working for both myself and a friend so we can try to do Netplay.
Also a quick glance I couldn't figure out how to load old gamepad configs into 4.1.
Wow this board is dead these days huh?
It is
quite active. The reason no one replied is because your question is bogus. There is no need for guides for each and every game, they will work with defaults right out of the gate, optimized to get around bugs. All you have to do is get the emulator and run the game.
Besides, just look at the
wiki, the place where information like this has been since before 3.0. Or just look at the
first page of this thread where the wiki is embedded.

I've seen the Wiki I was just wondering if there was any differences with 4.0 since I didn't see anything dedicated to the new version. With 3.0 I was able to easily run Melee with no issues and now (using the exact same ROM) I'm having some issues. That is the reason I asked if there were any specific settings recommended for this (or any other) GC game.
