I've tried but I can't. This is probably gonna sound very noobish but on the Dolphinpage it says I need 64-bit Visual C++ redistributable for Visual Studio 2015. However, because my windows is x86 and therefore (i think) when I try to install the 64-bit version I get an error. Consequently, when I download the newest developer version of Dolphin and I double click the dolphinlogo in the zipfile its says: This app can’t run on your PC. That's why I went with the latest stable version 4.0.2 (my pc does support 64-bit though)
You can install the 64-bit version of windows for free.
Two months since the last post... Oh boy...
Is anyone else experiencing a clicking/popping sound that only comes out of the right speaker? I'm using Dolphin version 4.0-8757 and I've tried a variety of revisions since 4.0-6XXX but they all have this problem. It's normally not a big deal, but I do TAS editing from time to time and I hate having to upload a TAS to YouTube with that annoying popping sound. It ruins the magic. Although, I do remember like 2 years ago this problem didn't exist, so I'm wondering if I should dig through the revision list and try to find one that doesn't have this issue.
Which backend are you using?

Graphical backend is Direct3D, audio backend is XAudio2.
As always, please don't use Dolphin 4.0.2. A lot of things have been fixed since it has been released.
Set Texture Cache Accuracy to Fast, set Internal Resolution to 1x, and disable Anisotropic Filtering and Force Texture Filtering. Of course, you should also update to a recent development version of Dolphin if you want better performance, but I've probably said that enough times already...
Ok so I made the switch to dolphin 5.0 i've checked controller setup and start and b are the right way round but theres something wrong cause now all of a sudden since i downsized to native resolution the game works smoother but then i get to the character menu's (any vs or single player) and when i complete my selections it comes with the message press start!...
but heres where the glitch is, I press start but rather than going to the stage selection menu it just exits the character selection menu and returns to mode sub category selection I literally can't play till i fix this can anyone help me?

my bad turns out the usb port is faulty so i can't use it glad this comp has 8 ports seems it was cutting some of the connection to left and right triggers and b and start buttons which resulted in strange glitches including link in permanent shield mode on twilight pricess too. sorry for the trouble.

Okay... I have seen this question answered many times, but none of the results seem to work for me. I have two PS4 controllers that are bluetoothed to my laptop and using InputMapper so they look like Xbox360 controllers to my OS. Player 1 works fine, but Player two does not. In the character select screen, player 2's cursor is present, but it cannot be moved. In Dolphin's controller settings, I can map the controller for Player 2. The little red dot moves when I move the joysticks and all that. I reconfigured the Dolphin.ini so that SIDevice1 = 6, but still nothing. I have to be missing some thing here. I am using Dolphin 5.0-278 and my specs are as follows.
Windows 10 Home
Inter® i7-4610HQ @ 2.50GHz
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970M
16.0 GB RAM

Does anyone have any extra idea on how I can make it work?
