Just a quick configuration question.
I'm running intel I7 4710HQ 2.5 ghz multicore processor, 16 gb ram, 3gb geforce gtx 970m and I'm getting a strange "stutter" when running melee.
It happens during match start, and sometimes when characters get bigger or smaller due to item effects. The game just seems to skip (read freeze) video and my character will be somewhere else. I do have frame skipping set to 1 in emulation, which gets me 60fps on any internal resolution I want... but this "stutter" makes the game unplayable. Any suggestions?

Oddly enough it seems to happen less when I'm using HLE emulated audio instead of LLE recompiled. So weird.
That's not weird, you should always be using HLE audio for SSBM. It works perfectly (for SSBM at least) and is much less resource-intensive. Your frameskip should also probably be set to 0. I know you said it helps you stay at 60fps, but your processor is more than enough to run SSBM at full speed. You should also make sure you have set its power mode to "prefer maximum performance" for Dolphin.exe in the Nvidia Control Panel.
anyone know how to get a cheat for melee to unlock everything
i'm sure google has an excellent idea
Recently got dolphin going to play SSBM. Everything runs at 60fps except Fountain of Dreams. When a game goes to FoD, it slows down to 8-10 fps and about 10% normal game speed and three quarters of the screen is just a gray block. No other level lags or glitches. Any ideas? Thanks.
Your profile says you're using Intel HD graphics, so that could be the problem. Make sure your drivers are updated, maybe?

I did just update the drivers because the game was crashing every time I started it before doing so. Are you thinking the graphics card can't handle FoD?
That's exactly what we're thinking. That stage is known for being heavy on resources. They even mention it in the progress reports. Check it out:

Bummer. Do I have any options to attempt to boost the performance? Forgive my noobishness.

Hey Guys (and Gals)

Im trying to run Melee (Version 1.02) on Dolphin build 4.0-8044 but it wont even start. When I try to start it, I get a prompt saying the following:

"IntCPU: Unknown instruction 00000000 at PC= 803436d4
last_PC 81200cf0 LR = 80005436"

Since everyone seems to be running Melee quite fine, I wonder what I'm doing wrong? Some background info:
- I've left all Settings in the recommended state,
- I'm using a GC adapter for Wii U (works fine for brawl)
- Yes, SSBB seems to be working just fine (I can even play with the GC-Controller)
- I unchecked all AR and Gecko codes (an earlier post I googled on another forum recommends something like this)

My Computer Specs:

Intel i7 4790 3.2 Ghz
GTX 970
16 Gb RAM

If additional info is needed, I'll be more than happy to provide it.
Thanks already in advance for any help! Big Grin
