Hello, I need help with problem that keeps reoccurring. Everytime.................EVERYTIME I play Super Smash Bros Melee. It crashes. Randomly. And it sucks because I'm like half way on adventure mode and "Dolphin has reached an unexpected error" or whatever that error box pops up to tell you to close. I didn't have this ERROR before and for some reason it's happening out of no where. I used to play Melee with no problem and actually finish off my game modes but you get the idea.
My Laptop setup is
Intel Core i7 - 3630QM 2.4GHz
Geforce 670M GTX
Windows 8
12GB of RAM
Wired Xbox Controller
ROM NAME- Super Smash Bros Melee v1.02 USA NGC-OneUp
Please, Im just some guy (or gamer) that needs help
EDIT: I used to use 3.5-109 dirty but then I switched over when I kept getting these random crashes and they still keep happening.
I love when people make it easy to see they're pirating games. Banned.
The trick is to dump the games yourself from your own discs. The ROM name clearly indicates its origins as somewhere from the internet rather than some random name you came up with yourself. Downloading games is against the forum rules.
EDIT: C'mon delroth, you're stealing my fun

This is forum for general chat about the game or is it for troubleshooting?
Have anyone of you guys had freezing problems on Melee? I use Dolphin 4.0 and I was wondering who could help me out. My settings are on default and the only thing I could have thought of the problem was my controller. Since its a fighting game, it would have me press on my buttons as quick as I can
I was going to try to debug you, but you didn't even care enough to fill out your computer specs or operating system in your profile.
Point is, I have no information to even help you pin down a problem.
All I can tell you is that I play Smash Bros. Melee a lot on Dolphin's netplay and have personally never encountered a freeze over probably hundreds of hours of play across the last year or so.
Hello everyone, new user here. I've been having an odd issue when playing SSBM. The audio speed and gameplay speed don't seem to be matching up. If I set FPS limit to Audio, the music will play perfectly, but the gameplay will be at 30 FPS and in slow motion. If I set FPS limit to 60, the gameplay is correct, but the audio is going at double speed. My specs and OS should be in my profile, so does anyone know what's going on?
You probably have some dumb things set in the game properties for something like this to happen.
Here's the game config and dolphin config pictures. For some reason, it won't let me put them in my post.
Turn off limit by FPS and set it back to auto.
Post your graphics config pages
Did that and here you go.
By the way, the config says I'm using Integrated Graphics, but I've set Dolphin to use my NVIDIA card in the NVIDIA control panel.
