I´m using 4.0-4800. For some reason the BGM stops playing on this game when you start in the hidden mansion. I was using HLE and OpenAL.

To be more specific, it stopped playing after clearing the ghosts on the wardrobe. The sound effects still work though.
What happens in 4.0-4918?
The BGM works as normal on latest dev. Now that I remember, I used save states on the last stages of the first mansion and when starting the hidden one. When I booted the game normally, there was music, but then I loaded the save state and then the music stops.
Glad you solved it Tongue
I don't know if this'll come up as a reply to someone on here or a new post as i'm both new here and this site is f**king confusing but hopefully someone will see it and be able to help me. Ok... i downloaded the latest version of dolphin and some program that allows me to use my Official Wii U GameCube Adapter on my PC and i've gotten everything working just fine (or as good as they will get according to these guides here) except for one problem i have with Luigi's Mansion. The game loads just fine, everything works just fine except Luigi won't stop rotating around in a constant 360 degree circle. Anyone know how to fix this?

Does anyone know how to get rid of the artifacts that randomly appear in OpenGL mode?

Here are a few screenshots of what I'm talking about (look at Luigi and the treasure chest):

I don't have this problem in Direct3D mode, but I get more consistent performance with OpenGL so I figured I'd ask.

In case you're wondering, I'm using one of the latest developer builds (4.0-6268 x64) and my specs are as follows:
> i3-4160 CPU
> 8 GB RAM
> R9 270 GPU
Do you have the latest drivers for your GPU?

Yeah, Catalyst 15.4.
Right-click on the game in Dolphin, go to Properties, and on the second to last tab there is an option to compute the MD5 sum of the disk.
If you have the NTSC-U version, the MD5 sum should be 6e3d9ae0ed2fbd2f77fa1ca09a60c494
If it's not that, then you have a bad dump of the disk.
So I've recently started playing this game using Dolphin, and one thing I have noticed is that parts of Luigi's face will frequently distort or disappear briefly at any given time during gameplay.  Is there a fix for this?  A graphics setting, perhaps?  It would be nice to get rid of it because it looks rather ugly.  If not then it isn't a huge deal, as the game is still obviously playable.

Here is a screenshot of the glitch:
