I'm having the same problem and I can't figure out why. I've only played Double Dash so far, too.

I think it might be my own computer - SMS and double dash both crash on the stable builds(4.0.1, 4.0, and 3.5) they're all 64-bit too.

You may want to specify your GPU in the profile...
I.M.O., what you need is a new GPU. Also, upgrade your CPU to a i5-4670K.

I was questioning my GPU on this too, I'm looking at the GT640 right now
Your graphics card wouldn't cause it to crash unless you were on Mac, the crashes are not normal. I'm beginning to think that either the prerequisites for Dolphin aren't installed or you have just all bad dumps of the games.

I just tested Double Dash without most of my other programs running and it does better and hasn't crashed (yet). Could it just be programs conflicting with programs or is it something else? The emulator is indeed getting more demanding so that might just be it.
