@thomriis
I just completed the Flash Black Galaxy - Jumping in the Dark level on 3.0-840 using Direct3D9, EFB Copy to RAM and DSP LLE and the level was perfectly fine there with the flashes.
And I also don't have anything serious to report here with this game on newer versions of Dolphin. Heck at the moment this game plays better then the first Galaxy game. Smooth framerates and no issues at all.

ive also downloaded 3.0-840 but how the heck do you transfer the wii save files from one dolphin emulator to another??
Please can anyone explain this.

Go into User/Wii/Title and make a copy of your game folder. Btw you can find it more easily by clicking right on your game (in your gamelist): choose "Open Wii save folder"

Now Flashback galaxy works as it should

I solved the mystery behind the missing flashes on screen in flashback galaxy.
Its the Accurate Vbeam emulation thats causing the problem, when its on the music and sound is great (but no flashing)
when its off the music and sound is terrible (but the screen is flashing) hoooray
well guess i just have to play through this stage without sound

I'm glad your problem with Flashback galaxy got solved thomriis.
As for sound, yeah you'll need quite a good rig to use DSP LLE to get proper sound in this game so you'll have to settle with DSP HLE at the moment if your system requirements is low

well i wouldnt excactly call my rig low end as my i7 3940xm processor should be able cope around 3,8ghz
actually runs dolphin quite good

btw: You can overclock your CPU

This CPU is a mobile Extreme edition with open multiplier. If your temps are good and the cooling system strong enough, you should do a little overclock to 4GHz or more.

Go for it man and don't hold anything back
