I'm very new here), but I've been having trouble getting the emulated Wii pointer to actually point towards in-game objects i.e. Starbits and anything Yoshi can eat/latch his tongue onto. Like it would constantly hover over what I want to interact with, but it feels like a coin flip on whether or not it will actually do what I want it to. And grabbing those flower things with Yoshi's tongue feels like a D20. It's because of this problem that I can't progress past the first power star in Yoshi Star Galaxy. The pointer works perfectly fine on menus, but not so much everything else. I'm currently using a keyboard and mouse to play this game. I looked on a lot of other places but only seem to find different cursor problems or have it remain unsolved. Do you know any fix to this? Or do I have to concede and bring out my old Wiimote and nunchuck?
This sounds like a problem with EFB access. Ensuring that Skip EFB Access from CPU is turned off should fix it. If not, you're probably dealing with some kind of graphics driver problem.

Skip EFB Access has always been off afaik. I triple checked it in finding solutions to the problem. Could you tell me how my graphics driver comes into play and how I may fix it? There's still a few things I'm admittedly computer and emulator illiterate about
Hi all, I'm having a similar issue to LaeiMou above. The pointer shows up and tracks correctly, but it often fails to pick up star bits or target with Yoshi's tongue. Additionally, when star bits are fired uaing the B button, they move slowly in an awkward direction before being pulled by gravity, as opposed to travelling directly to the pointer location.
I'm using a real Wii Remote connected via Bluetooth. Skip EFB Access from CPU is disabled.
OpenGL seems to have a problem when SSAA or MSAA is enabled, so either switch to another backend or disable MSAA/SSAA.

Does anyone know what settings *specifically* I can use for the flying levels? I have a dualshock 4 and frankly I have no idea what I'm missing. There must be some way to set it up correctly with two analog sticks, but it's escaping me.
Edit: I tried with keyboard and it was a lot more receptive. I just used the tilt on WASD (and tick the upright box for the star ball levels) and it was ok if a little janky. I think the problem was just with the deadzone and sensitivity of my old, less-than-perfect analog sticks -- probably not a dolphin problem at all.
