If you use HLE, you should not experience freezes or crashes in Super Mario Galaxy 2 any longer.

Yes, I forgot to add this to my speculation about LLE on thread. This whole thing about LLE on Thread freezing Zelda ucode games when played on LLE becomes irrelevant, because HLE works and provides speed boost itself. But I don't want to switch to HLE, yet, since audio balance/mixing fix is on it's way ATM. But in the meantime... Smile

help!!! i can play nsmb well with my gamepad logitech dual action.
but i cant move my mario in smg2. the dpad not function. i can only move the mid-star and other buttons. dpad not working.
whyyyyyy?
thanks.
Because this game uses the nunchuck for movement.
Can somebody help me out here? I can't manage to get this game running at 60 FPS. I have tried a few different builds including 4.0.2 and some developer builds and am currently using the latest (4.0-1769). I'm using Open GL with HLE audio. Even at 1x internal resolution with no AA and 1x AF it doesn't run at full speed.

I have:
i5-4570
GTX 760
8 GB ram
You really should have no problem reaching full speed. Can you post any other settings you're using?
Fullscreen resolution and aspect ratio set to auto
Scaled EFB copy checked
Skip EFB access from CPU checked
Ignore format changes checked
external frame buffer disabled
OpenMP texture decoder and fast depth calculation both checked
Enable dual core and enable idle skipping both checked
JIT recompiler
DSound backened
Turn off OpenMP Encoder; that should help.
That didn't seem to do anything. Could there be something else causing problems besides the settings? I've tried changing them around and nothing seems to help.
Are you using EFB2Ram?
