Yeah. Doesn't work with 7177 as well.

Tested with HLE/LLE/LLE Interpreter. Dual core ON/OFF. JIT/JITIL/Interpreter, D3D/Open GL.

I wonder if 7538 and newer has problems with other games as well, because i barely tested anything else besides Wind Waker.

Is it possible to be a windows specific thing? I have reports of linux and Mac users who didn't see anything wrong and are playing just fine with the newer builds. I am using Windows 10 and Daeoc is using Windows 8.1.

4.0-7358 changed Dolphin from using Visual Studio 2013 to using Visual Studio 2015, and Visual Studio is only used on Windows, so yes.
Don't forget the 4.0- guys! 4.0 is not going to last much longer, and no one is going to know what anyone is talking about in a few years. Sad
Yes, Dolphin is almost there. Smile

I had uploaded my save on this post. I noticed that someone opened an issue on github, but since no one there could be able to reproduce this bug, i wonder how can this be fixed at all.

I made a copy of the save on slot 1 (windfall island) into the slot 2 as well. Then i loaded the save using 4.0-7528 and sailed to Dragon Roost Island and saved the game there. Loaded it using 4.0-7177 and then i tried to sail back to WindFall Island and on my way back there, the game broked again. This time the game freezed and i could hear an annoying sound. When i enter "esc", the nintendo logo appeared on the screen. The game just refuse to load WindFall at all cost.

Game ID: GZLE01
Can confirm the same issue. Latest versions hang when I'm lying in the water after the forsaken fortress. 7528 works fine.

Uploaded my save, though I don't know if it will help

Running Windows 10 home.
Besides the freezing on Windfall Island, my game always freeze when i load the game anywhere else and i try to sail back to windfall island. I made a screenshot just when the bug appeared. That is windfall island on the horizon.

I'm having issues using the Widescreen AR code not working, and have no idea what is wrong.

I have the code entered in properly, checked on, but in game everything remains stretched (links face is rather wide) which looks the same as if I didn't have the AR code at all.

This is with AR code checked, forced 16:9.

Options incase that might have something to do with it.

I'm at a loss as to what is going wrong, or if this is how it's supposed to work(though I can't imagine that being the case since it seems no different than with it off at this point)
Sorry in advance if anything is left out, as I'm fairly new to this stuff.

EDIT:

Just also noticed that the AR codes I used for inverting the default camera controls don't work either for whatever reason.
So at this point I'm thinking I may be missing something with how to properly use the AR codes (though I did have the heat effect one work fine via zooming past it even though I didnt need to use that one anymore)

Codes I'm trying to use for camera are

I did before but just checked and it wasn't checked so I checked it again, however it's not saving the fact that I'm checking enable cheats at all and everytime I "ok" out of that menu and go back in, it's back to being turned off.

Going to reinstall and see if that fixes that.

EDIT:
Reinstalling fixed that menu problem. everything's working as it should now.
I can confirm that compressing the game from the *.iso format to *.gcz format, using Dolphin, fix Wind Waker.

This trick was mentioned on the issue page on github and definitely works.

Are there any disadvantages on running games on gcz format rather than on iso format? Are there any difference at all besides saving HD space?
