According to redump.org, here are the three known good MD5 hashes for Wind Waker.

Since yours is different, it is likely that your dump is bad. Try redumping it and see if the MD5 matches after that. My guess is this is the issue.
Any idea why this is happening?

I've played through with this dump before, so I don't know why it's happening. I have tried multiple updates of dolphin and it is still happening.
that made me laugh

is there anything specific you remember changing from when this did and didn't happen? like did you update dolphin and then this happened?

I last played it quite a few months ago and usually keep up to date with dev builds. I have tried a few other builds and it doesn't seem to make a difference.

May see if it occurs with 4.0.2 stable

EDIT:
Tested with 4.0.2 and still happens. May be a bad dump/save file

This was the solution, for anyone curious.

Yeah, I had a bad dump, possibly related to my disc being in somewhat bad shape. So, got my friends copy of Wind Waker and dumped it; no problems at all after that.

Thanks everyone.
Seem like a bad dump was my issue as well. Weird that it would cause that rather than crashing
shouldn't be a hash issue, you said you've done it before with the same dump, and it doesn't look like a hash issue either.

I love Hypatia's texture pack but it is too slow to use at 4k even on my computer (Xeon @4.5GHZ with 128GB DDR4 RAM and 2x280x) Exclamation . As a result I have created a script that will automatically resize any texture pack by an arbitrary amount using whatever resizing options you please. The only requirements are that you have imagemagick installed and can run a powershell scripts. Someone will need to port it to bash for *nix users. You can set whatever filters you want in the program options string e.g. $programOptions = "-filter Gaussian -resize 25%". The default is bilinear which works well in general for this kind of downsizing. It took ~2 minutes to resize Hypatia's pack by a factor of 50% (still 400% larger than the original textures) which allowed me to play in HD at full speed Big Grin.

Code:
$sourceFolder = "C:\TexturePackIn"
$destinationFolder = "C:\TexturePackOut"
$calledProgram = "C:\Program Files\ImageMagick-6.9.2-Q16\convert.exe"
$fileFilter = "*.jpg","*.png"
$programOptions = "-resize 50%"

ForEach ($sourceFile in $(Get-ChildItem $sourceFolder -include $fileFilter -recurse))
{
    $destinationName = $destinationFolder + $sourceFile.FullName.Substring($sourceFolder.Length)
    $destanationPath = [System.IO.Path]::GetDirectoryName( $destinationName )

    If (-Not (Test-Path $destinationPath))
    {
        New-Item $destinationPath -Type directory | Out-Null
    }

    $programCommand = "& " + "`"" + $calledProgram + "`" " + "`"" + $sourceFile.fullname + "`" " + $programOptions + " `"" + $destinationName + "`""
    Invoke-Expression -Command $programCommand
}

If you save that as a .ps1 file, tweak those variables, and have powershell scripts set to run you should be all set!

Thanks,

Zamadatix

Edit: Forgot to mention I'd recommend copying any interface, character, or effect textures (they are usually small compared to environment textures) without resizing as those get stretched on screen the most and cost little in comparative terms of performance.
Smile Thanks for sharing, but you could have saved a lot of time and just use this Wink https://forums.dolphin-emu.org/Thread-unofficial-custom-texture-tool-v4-2
I wish a mod would sticky that thread...

My save file got corrupted today and I'm wondering if anyone has a save file I could use that's around the Earth Temple, I was almost finished with it. Thanks
