It should work with fast depth now, but it might be that opengl or d3d still needs slow depth.
And the pictobox still requires to have the ebf copy in ram. The rest of the game was and is fine with efb to texture only.
The game crashed and I would like to provide logs in order to help with troubleshooting the issue. Are logs saved somewhere or do I have to enable logging first?
you could ask for help before logging an issue.

This is an issue i heard of that is supposed to happen on older builds. And only when using efb to texture. You need efb to ram for the pictobox to work anyways. So either disable "efb copies to texture only" or create a hotkey for switching between efb to texture and efb to ram, and then switch to efb to ram, before taking out the pictobox.
Also, update to the latest version. That hopefully fixes the crash, but the pictobox still needs efb to ram to work.
So I've run in to a pretty big issue, and I am not totally sure what is causing the problem; I've done some searching and have turned up nothing.
Here is a video below of what the problem is, the game has extreme graphic glitches and wildness out from the start; and is unplayable in its current state. I haven't messed around with too many of Dolphin's settings; though I have a feeling it might be something I changed prior to play Ocarina of Time.
Video Here
I also have screenshots of my settings, or at least the ones that could potentially be affecting this, they are in the spoiler section below.
System specs are in my signature, and I am using Dolphin version: 4.0-6820 at the time of posting this.
Any help will be greatly appreciated, I honestly can't find the culprit to this problem.
Wow, that's intense.....
Set all the enhancements to 1x and see if that fixes it. If not, right click on the game in the Dolphin list, go to properties, and on the info tab, click on the compute MD5 sum. Paste that here.
Those artifacts look like what happens when i overclock my GPU too much. Did you overclock your GPU by any chance?
Just wanted to post my troubles and triumphs with this game so far. Started having an issue with Wind Waker, at the point soon after getting on the pirate ship and you are told to go see Niko. Niko starts his dialouge and what not, and once he gets on the first rope, you press A after he finishes talking, the dialog box disappears and as he swings and gets to point right here he should jump off, a warning message pops up from Dolphin stating "Incomplete cleanup! (regs)" and you press ok and moments later windows says it has stopped working and it closes Dolphin. I have been using the config that the wiki suggest. After getting this problem I have tried doing the opposite of the wiki suggestions, using D3D instead of OpenGL, HLE audio, etc. Did not help, this is occurring with build 7117 and 7123. Saw that the last test reported with the game was with build 6803, so I tried that with recommended settings, still same warning. Turned off panic handlers and did what I expected, froze with no explanation, lol. I normally use the JITIL recompiler cause it runs nice on my machine and for the games I usually play but low and behold I found my first game that does not like it, this one. So if anyone else comes into this issue check to make sure you are using the JIT recompiler. Or well maybe it's just my machine the game wants to run with JIT

Slinky

I did just that, and nada. As for the MD5 sum:

Nope, I don't overclock anything on my current build; my Mobo could probably barely handle it.
On another note, I updated to a newer version of Dolphin; and I have a few errors.
I have attached the dump files to this post.
