She just updated the pack today. However, I have a problem with it. Though it's been converted to Dolphin's new format, Prefetch Custom Textures still uses up 50% of my RAM in the title screen and it still stutters. I don't know why.
Prefetching custom textures will only remove the stutter that happens when loading textures. Like when getting to a new screen. Does it stutter in the title screen without custom textures?

No, it doesn't. Also, I meant that it uses up its 50% allotment while prefetching. I have 16GB of RAM, so the pack uses more than 8GB which doesn't seem right. I did just ask the artist about it so I'll see if I get a response.

Dolphin needs the textures uncomressed in memory, so you can't just expect it to use as much space as it needs on HDD. But i think the 50% rule is stupid, it should be RAM minus 1 GB or something.
I am having the same issue, stuttering, and dolphin running out of memory when precacheing textures.
I can use the Xenoblade HD pack (2.8GB of memory, 750MB on disk) just fine without going over 50% memory, but can't use wind waker's (526MB) without going over it.
Removing the bulk of the texture pack (all of the enviorment textures at 475MB) leaving the pack with 50MB of textures on disk, dolphin reports that it loaded 2 gigabytes of uncompressed textures, which in no way can be true.
edit: converted to DDS using the texture tool, 100MB larger than xenoblade's pack now. It precaches, but terrain isn't retextured...
any news/workarounds on this just saw the new hypatia hd release and it's a stuttering mess for me at 16GB RAM perhaps a 1/2 hypatia res (I know she made the textures REALLY BIG)
hey guys i dont know how to use these forums very well but i need some help with running Wind waker. I am running a HP Pavilion g6 laptop with Intel Pentium Processor, Intel HD graphics and windows 7. I have Wind Waker running but it is lagging alot when I am outside of Link's House. It runs well (75%-100% 20-30 FPS) during the opening and when Link wakes up in the Look Out, but then when I head to Link's House and Orca's it drops to 10 FPS. Is there any way to speed this up with what I am running? If so please help me and thanks in advance!
nope. there is no laptop pentium that can play dolphin games to my knowlege
Intel started reusing the pentiums for good processors again; so I'm not 100% confident. The Pentium G something is a haswell for instance.
really? they have mobile haswell pentiums?
Does this game still need Slow Depth Calculation and EFB Copies to RAM?
