I simply made a new save yesterday. I tried playing with the lag, saved the game and gave up. Now, when I try to load the same file it crashes.
I am using the normal memory-card thing in Dolphin. Default setting.
Hm, could you try starting a new game, saving, then trying to load that one?

I got past the first intro-scene that tells the backstory, and then it turns black. Nothing happened. Also didn't have any audio during that intro-scene.

Also, are there any controllers that I can use here? A way to get the classical-controller to work? I am on OS X, and there are no gamecube-controller adapters that work, that I am aware of. As of now i am using the keyboard..
Well, in windows, pretty much every controller that is recognized by Windows should be able to be mapped in Dolphin controller config. I've got no clue about OSX stuff, though, sorry.
The issues you're having sound strange, indeed. Maybe you do have a bad rom. You could give us your configs, but if you left everything at defaults that shouldn't make such issues.

I got it working. After a restart, it worked perfectly. Now I will just need to use my keyboard until I figure something out.. Maybe I can connect my 360 controller to the Mac.

Thanks!
Hey guys, I have a really annoying problem. I just got to Dragon Roost Island, and the boat gives me the wind waker conducting thing, but I can't play the song. My controller is mapped correctly and responds correctly in the button mapper settings when I use what is mapped to the C-stick, but when its time for me to play the song, I can only move down and to the right. Pressing up or left won't do anything. This stinks because I can't move forward in the game until I fix this...anyone want to enlighten me? I would appreciate it a lot.
Try turning up the deadzone and radius on your cstick to max.
Dislike the blurry depth of field used in Wind Waker, but can't set the IR to ludicrously high values to counter it? Add these old Projection Hack variables to your Wind Waker config/INI file and the DoF will effectively be nuked!

Code:
[Video]
ProjectionHack = 1
PH_SZFar = 1
PH_ZFar = 0.9

What if someone were to... I don't know... what to amplify that blurry depth-of-field effect perhaps making it seem more like your typical modern-day, "blurry-as-fuck" depth-of-field effect that you'd see in say Saints Row 3 and up; how would someone go about that?

This AR code works too for the American version:

043FCB9C 00000000

I didn't find it for the PAL version.
