First off, thanks for the awesome work! I'm just having a slight issue that's not really an issue with Wind Waker.

I can run it just fine, everything works well. The only issue is the warning when I first start it up. I'm running it on an HTPC, trying to just use an xbox controller for everything, so I never have to touch a keyboard or mouse (as this is in the living room and is basically just a console). When I first start up Wind Waker I get the warning about it being a free DSP ROM and how some features won't work. This is annoying as I have to get the keyboard or mouse to continue past this. Is there any way to disable this warning or otherwise circumvent or prevent it?
Use the latest development builds, this message was moved to an OSD message that does not require clickthrough.

Hi. I'm not sure where to post this so I figured I'd just post it here. The Dragon Roost heat effect was purportedly fixed, but I just wanted to say that the bug appears to be alive and well. I have recorded a video of me playing it with the latest developer build (4.0-1769) here. When I realized I wasn't using the stable release, I figured I'd give that a whirl, which you can view here, however the only discernible change is a significant drop in fps (You should have seen the walk from the beach to the start of the video). I believe all the relevant information is viewable in the videos I made. If not, I'll be happy to post.
You're using the widescreen hack. You know, a hack? HACK. You know hacks can cause problems, right?

Regardless, there's a modified widescreen hack AR code in the Wiki page. Turn off the built in one in Dolphin, use that, and force 16:9.

Haha, I honestly thought I tried everything. Thank you for your response and that is what was wrong. I think I only turned it on because it wasn't rendering things on the sides of the screen thanks to the forced 16:9. Not even sure if it did anything but I'll leave it off.
No problem, I just want to make people aware that the widescreen hack is known to break things. Glad I could be of service.

You need to force-disable EFB to RAM and Fast Depth Calculation in order to play Wind Waker at acceptable speeds on that computer. Of course, this will break the pictobox completely, along with some effects. If you accept that you cannot do the pictobox quest, certain transparency effects will be rendered slightly off, and waves won't look completely right, then go to Sys/gamesettings/GLZE01 and remove "EFBToTextureEnable = False" and "FastDepthEnable = False".

You state that I need to disable "EFB to RAM", but the wiki states to disable "DstAlphaPass"..

So which one is it?

In earlier Dolphin-versions I needed to enable "Efb to Ram".. With the latest versions, can I just leave it to "Efb to Texture" without any glitches?
I *think* the only part of WW that needs EFB to RAM is the pictobox
Thanks, but the wiki states that you just need to disable dstalphapass for it to work. So... No efb to RAM necessary?
EFB2Ram is necessary, the wiki is often inaccurate or outdated.
