Second, limit the speed.

Hello and thanks for helping me,
I just downloaded the latest version (version 10 hours ago) on OpenGL.
Still, the game is laggy.

Is there a way that the optimal config for a specific game could be downloadable from the Dolphin-emu.org server (for example by right-clicking on the iso) ? That would be an awesome feature.

If not, what did I miss ? Why doesn't it play smoothly on my system ?

Dolphin 4.0 1522
Framelimit : Auto
JIT Recompiler
Audio DSP HLE
Graphic Backend OpenGL
IR 4x, AA 8x, Anisotropic Filering 1x
Scaled EFB Copy Checked
Per-Pixel Lightning Checked
EFB Copies to RAM
EFB Virtual
Fast Depth calculation unchecked

Thanks again !
You don“t need per-pixel lighting nor XFB on any mean. Try lowering IR, and turn off AA.
Turn off the XFB. Per-pixel lighting is okay, but you probably won't notice it very easily in Wind Waker. Still a nice little thing if you do, but, again, there are lots of moments in the game where the lighting is done manually by the game engine, and per-pixel lighting will not affect them.

Hi, I'm having a weird problem here and maybe someone can help. I've been playing this game for a little bit and everything works fine (there's some lag when fighting, but that's not a priority). I just got to the part where you start sailing, and I noticed that the ocean music is missing the melody. The music is there and sounds great, but the instrument playing the melody does not play.

This happened with 4.0.2 and I also tried with 4.0-1522, the latest dev version, and the same happens. I've tried switching between HLE and LLE, changed the audio backends, and nothing.

Has anyone experienced this problem? Any tips?
Can you provide audio dumps from Dolphin via the dump audio feature?

OK game is playbale now, I still am about 85% when moving (and 100% when staying still) so its not perfect but its OK

I also think it would be great that double-clicking on the ISO file would open the game directly in Dolphin (like for the PS2 emulator PSX2). Would be great for people launching the game from an HTPC.
Okay, try making sure that your GPU isn't throttling.
Gwinbar: I'm actually unable to reproduce that, just checked it on my end in the English and Japanese versions, and both are playing the correct instruments. Are there any other settings you can tell me? Are you running the game full speed? I'll leave it running for a while to see if I can reproduce. Running full speed shouldn't matter for LLE. Are there any other steps?
That sounds like a game bug, Gwinbar. The music plays without the lead when you're just sitting in the water, not in your trusty, living boat who
