i have yet to see or feel the difference... doubt you'll get it to run properly smooth simply by switching the 64bit
I'm sticking with x86 as sweetfx only works with 32bit software Smile
I'm using sweetfx with Dolphin x64 through RaedonPro (application), then if you have a Raedon Card try it.
That way, it works great Smile

I don't know if exist similar program for nvidia cards
sweetfx works through replacing a directx dll with a modified one, that allows applying post-processing filters such as simple contrast enhancing settings to AA filters and powerful color scripts. but there are only 32bit versions available of that dll, so I wonder how radeonpro is capable of injecting this into 64bit software as well...
Anyway, for all those nvidia and non-radeonpro users: I only got it to work with 32 bit and I use thelazy's sweetfx configuration for setup with games: http://sweetfx.thelazy.net/?p=91

Quote:Hello
fellow Zelda fans, I love using Dolphin to play Wind Waker but I've
seem to run into a visual bug. It's nothing game breaking but thought I
would post this and see if anyone else has the problem and/or knows what
I could try on how to fix it.

Here is a screen shot. snip
As you can see the Armos Statue is very odd looking. Does anyone know how to fix this visual bug?

Feel like recording a 5 frame fifo log and uploading it somewhere?
https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer
here are 30frames of fifo log, capturing the color change when attacking it as well:
http://storage.superconnected.org/random/windwaker.7z

Also I tested it with d3d9, d3d11 and opengl: all experiencing the same issue
Can you create an issue report about it? Please make sure to fill out the issue template properly (without deleting the questions and put your answers below the questions) and put the link to the fifo log in the report as well.

there you go: http://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/detail?id=6683
Thanks. I guess it's one of the things that would be fixed in tev_fixes_new. If you feel bored you could try that branch (it might as well be horribly broken), either way I'll get to work on this issue at some point.

EDIT: builds

partially fixed (yellow disappeared, grey partially visible):

since its a work in progress, it does however look promising. scaling of textures is broken though

That definitely looks better. Let's see what happens next.
I'm encountering another annoying issue:
from time to time, the screen just turns black. I can still walk, enter the menu and everything, just everything 3D is black (pressing start to enter the item menu works and shows it even).
It's possible to fix this black screen by simply going into first person (C-Up) and back out. I have no idea how this happens and I haven't found a location where I can get willfully make it happen. So far, it has happened in/on the Savage Labyrinth, Outset Island, Windfall Island and multiple eye reefs. Both D3D9 and 11 seems to be affected, but I'm not sure if its one of the bugfixing cheats/hacks fault, which were active at the time...

Has anyone else encountered this issue yet?
Next time it happens please record a fifo-log, https://wiki.dolphin-emu.org/index.php?title=FifoPlayer

I am aware of this and I don't know as work RadeonPro, I think it uses a alternative injector like this: http://forums.guru3d.com/showpost.php?p=4581604
Anyway, I was trying to use that in dolphin x64 and not working for me without RadeonPro.

The fact is dolphin with sweetfx looks wonderful Smile

okay, I got a recording. It obviously starts with the black screen and later on, clearing it by going into first person:
http://storage.superconnected.org/random/windwaker%20black%20screen.7z

I hope this helps!

P.S. no cheats enabled, no hacks active either.

EDIT: I totally forgot to mention the following:
once the screen goes black, the sailing/ocean music starts playing and will continue playing even if the screen returns to normal. It will only change once another track starts playing naturally...
