But don't get me wrong i don't have any problems with the controls. I played Wind Waker some time ago and i would play it on my GCN if it wouldn't have broken... well... fell down
.
The problem is that the game isn't working right. This is how it should look like
but i only have three squares on the top. The game doesn't recognize that i have given it 4 inputs, which results propably in a non triggered event so the Red Lion King at one point get me to start the scene again and so on. It is, like i said impossible to get past that scene.
So when you hold the analog stick left it continues to show only three note boxes? Are you using a controller or mouse+keyboard? I'm trying to think of what could cause that behavior because I just played through the game last week (and about a year ago) without a problem using the wired Xbox 360 controller.
I would suggest ensuring that no cheats are activated and open the GCPad configuration to double-check the mapping settings. Other than that I have no clue what the problem would be, especially if that's the only thing that isn't working correctly, haha.
I don't know if share save games is allowed here but i lost my save at
Forbidden Woods in Wind Waker right in front of boss door after trying
to convert a Wii TLOZ:TP save to GC version (Don't ask me how i did that

), so if someone have a save near (before or after the boss) please share with me,
Thanks
ps: can be a dolphin or a GC save, i will transfer to wii anyway.
Well still getting the per-pixel depth shoreline problem.
They know, it's being worked on. I did some testing regarding that just today.

Thanks, good to hear.
Update: not sure exactly which build did it but something fairly recent (last month or so) has given us the option of enabling or disabling Fast Depth Calculation. So it seems we just got Per-Pixel Depth option back afterall lol well obviously turning it off fixes the Wind Waker flickering bug (possibly more games/bugs etc) so it's nice to have the option again. For people like me with an extremely high end rig it's good to be able to force the proper rendering options for quality emulation.
Many thanks guys. Keep up the good work.
yo guys ive played ww to the 2nd dungeon now with so far no bugs at all. But now in the 2nd dungeon im close to end and on my way getting the master key theres a stupid bug in 1 room normally theres a platform in that room whihc u have to cut down with ur boomerang so u can cross the water to pick up a bomb and destroy the wood to get into the room. Now when i go back in the 1st floor i open the door but theres simply nothing but water i fall down and nothing more happens but i get blackscreen, emulator still works though no crash. 2 Floors higher exactly the same shit i open door and fell down from something that looks like a waterfall and nothing more happens.Pls help me with that shit ty so far.

You can also try to set Framelimit to "Audio". Btw if you use LLE you shouldn't even need this
maybe its a bug of the iso i am using im not sure if anyone has a save after 2nd temple and loads it up would be awesome
