@jamiehutber - Those aren't the settings we need. Click the Config button and look a t the General tab. Click the Graphics button and look at the General, Enhancements, and Hacks tabs. Tell us what you have set there.

@phaexx - I've been busy, so I haven't tried your game save yet (I need to convert it to PAL as well) I will try it tonight though.
Cheers again for the reply. Odd that graphic settings would effect my grapple though but you know better then me in such cases i'm sure Big Grin

I just tired to play with the keyboard, it works perfectly. Hits whenever you see yellow.

I'm using an xBox 360 controller mapped all the buttons. Any ideas how this could effect it?
It could be an issue with the XBOX 360 controller. When you click the GCPad button, can you take a screenshot for us? If you have any other game controllers (e.g. a PS3 controller or USB joystick), see if those will work as well.

@phaexx - I have not forgotten about you, but I have been busier than I expected. I will definitely take a look at your memory card save once I get home from work. Until then, try using the latest revision from our new site. 3.0-408-dirty is very old at this time. You can download the latest from here: http://dolphin-emu.org/download/ At the very least, try it with the newest stable release, 3.5.

Okay, I tried searching the thread for some keywords and nothing showed up.

I'm on the latest development build and I am seeing this old bug only in this game where the shoreline flickers like mad when the camera moves. I commented on this bug a LONG time ago back when the developers were talking about removing an option from the graphics settings called something along the lines of "Per Pixel Depth" or something. It completely fixed the problem and when they said they were removing the option I was nervous that it might break Wind Waker. Well the option is gone and the bug is back.

Why would they remove it if it breaks the game, and how can I fix this if there's another solution?

Removing the option didn't break the game, it was broken later.
