Try using 5.0-583 with the code due to a change in how Gecko Codes work on later builds.
Just tried it on 5.0-583
Links head still seems a bit on the wide side Wink

It seems like I have reached the end of theories to potentially help you. It should look Like the following Image at the title screen.

Thanks for your help. I wasn't sure if it was a problem my end or if the code didn't work with my release.
My title screen is being stretched with the wiki code. Do you think it's worth posting the working gecko code I found (in my original post) in the wiki as an alternative code?

No because the current code on the wiki works on the NTSC release which we both have.

Hello, I've been having some issues with movement in Wind Waker. I'm using Dolphin 5.0-1444, but I've tried it on the stable Dolphin 5.0 and still get the same issue.

Whenever I try to move, Link won't run he'll walk instead. The only time he will run is when I move diagonal. Interestingly whenever I roll forward he eventually builds momentum and rolls at a speed that's equal to the speed when he runs into a roll, but he'll immediately resume walking once the roll ends.

I've tried messing around with the dead zones on my 360 controller, as well as using a keyboard without any analogue to ensure that the controller wasn't broken, but the problem still persists. I've tried running it at min video settings without any hacks enabled, but the problem still persists. I don't seem to have this problem with any other game it's only Wind Waker that does this, I'm not quite sure what could be causing it.

I'm running this on an i7 4770k with a GTX 770 and 16 gb of ram. Resolution is at native with no anti-aliasing and no anisotropic or post-processing filtering of any kind. I'm not using any custom textures or hacks of any kind. Thanks for the help.
Can you post a screenshot of your controller configuration?

Change both Radius settings to 100 and clear out both Modifier keys by middle clicking the button.

Yep, that worked. Thank you for the help!
