I upgraded to Dolphin 5.0 and I still get the old messed up heat effects in Dragon Roost Cavern.
The distortion from torches looks fine, but the atmospheric stuff causes some ridiculous screen tearing.
I though it was fixed as of this post: https://dolphin-emu.org/blog/2014/01/06/old-problem-meets-its-timely-demise/
Anyone know why I would still be getting this bug?
Make sure to enable the widescreen code/cheat and disable the widescreen hack. The widescreen hack is known to cause this problem.

That did trick trick. Thanks!
Hi everybody, first time poster, long time player. I got through the Forsaken Fortress with no problems, not even the framerate drop! And then my slight problem beings at Windfall Island. Slows down to 24fps. Only thing I put in was the widescreen and non-tearing code. Open GL, native resolution, scaled EFB copy, regular hacks checkmarked, no advanced options. Using DirectX11 causes bigger problems.
Edit: scaling was at 1.5x, but switching to auto multiples of original resolution fixed it.
Great work with the emulator nonetheless.
Having EFB copies to texture only enabled causes the game to freeze when you take a picture with the Picto Box, shouldn't it be mentioned on the wiki?
EFB to RAM is turned on in the GameINI, so it's expected that EFB to RAM should not be disabled or it can cause issues.

There is no time to lose! You must find one quickly!" It keeps entering that dialog with him everytime i exit it and I have tried many different things to try to fix this. I even tried playing it on another computer, nothing worked. If anyone can help me out that would be great!

Possibly a bad dump.
Also, if you are /still/ using 4.0, note that 4.0 is not supported anymore. Please upgrade to 5.0.
