Can somebody help me with the widescreen fix? I am using the newest 5.0 version of dolphin. When I apply the AR code it stretches the screen making everything fat. If I use the Enhancement Widescreen hack thats built into dolphin, objects disappear at the edge of the screen and there is a little bit of black bars on each side of the screen. I thought it said 5.0 would fix this, am I doing something wrong? Please and thanks

First of all, which 16:9 Aspect Ratio code do you use? Some codes are for PAL, others for NTSC-U, others may be Region-Free. Just be sure if the chosen aspect ratio code fits your game region. You might also have chosen a wrong code, as they are several versions.

Always disable the Widescreen Hack with a 16:9 Aspect Ratio code, unless the code states you need it enabled. Most codes require setting your Aspect Ratio to "16:9" or "Stretch to Window" and not "Auto". Dolphin works perfectly fine at "Auto", but remember you are using aspect ratio codes that might mess up how Dolphin recognizes it with the "Auto" setting.

For NTSC-U, use this AR code (do not confuse it with Gecko):
Code:
The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker (NTSC-U)
16:9 Aspect Ratio Fix - AR Code
043FA998 3FE38E39
Thank you for the help, but that didn't fix it. I am using the same AR code you posted (same as the one on the wiki) and not confusing it with Gecko. I also use the "remove blur" code with no problems. And my copy of Wind Waker is USA

Like I said: when using the AR code my game appears very stretched and fat like Links head is oval like an egg. This is when "Enhanced Widescreen hack" is disabled.

if I turn on the "Enhanced Widescreen hack" then the game no longer appears stretched or fat (links face looks normal or thin) but now I am seeing objects disappear before the edge of the screen. This doesn't change with the AR code on or off.

"Stretch to Screen" removed the black bars (I was using 16:9) but this doesn't affect my main issue.
Hmm ok. So which screen resolution do you play on? You are best off leaving the Fullscreen Resolution on "Auto". Are you using fullscreen or windowed mode? Do you also have the option "Render to Main Window" enabled (not that it is required)? In this case with Wind Waker, you must have the Widescreen code disabled and the Aspect Ratio set to "Stretch to Window". If you still have any issues then there must be something wrong with your configuration. Do you use the default settings that were provided with Dolphin 5.0?

Finally... This may sound stupid. Do you have the master button for codes enabled? Config -> General -> Enable Cheats. Without this option enabled, AR and Gecko codes do not work. The 16:9 aspect ratio code is a cheat after all. I guess this is your issue.
