Guys long ago that I try to run the game at 100% but I can not, I had the problem of the wiimote disconnecting. I solved by switching to LLE dsp, emulation but it got worse. Getting to 70 ~ 80% speed and 40-50 fps. And the bad sound because of the slowness. I used many revisions of dolphin, but always the same thing ...
I really want to play DK returns, has a good soul here who could help me?
My setup is:
AMD FX4100
Radeon HD6850
8GB DDR3 ram
Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit
Thank you in advance..

Which revision are you using? In your profile you wrote 3.5 so if this is the stable release you should try to check "Alternate Wiimote Timing" (right click the game in your gamelist, go into Properties and check the option).

You'll have to overclock your CPU if you want a better performance. And yes this game (moreover with LLE) is more demanding than you could imagine

I turned down my enhancements so I was maintaining 60fps, but I still get freezes in the opening video before I get to play the first stage. I suppose the game is not fully working yet?
Specs:
Dolphin 3.5 - 365
i7-860 @3.8 Ghz
GTX 275
4GB DDR3 PC1600
Windows 7 Ultimate x64

NSMB and SSBB and pretty "light" games. DKCR is more demanding (I know it can look weird

). Try to overclock your CPU

Always try the very latest one.
In BloodyBonzai's case I was thinking about a build after FIFO-BP merge (35-5XX)
Hi guys, quick question. Anyone experience stutter/slowdown even though the screen shows 100% speed (60fps) in this game? It's driving me insane! Almost perfect emulation other then that particular issue, the new dolphin 4.0 even fixed my wiimote from disconnecting, which is awesome.
Getting a lot of audio stuttering, and frame rate drops in-game. Attempted to switch to DSP LLE, which helped a little, but overall did not do much to fix the stuttering. Averages around 40 FPS, but keeps hopping from 35-60, making the overall rate really crappy and sporadic. Also getting the pixelated shadow effect around DK, which the wiki suggested turning on "EFB to Texture" on for (from the wiki,
here). Doing so did not fix the issue.
Very new computer, with a very good CPU, so I'm highly skeptical that the computer simply can't handle the game.
