Yes, although 25 FPS is also possible if you're using the PAL version.
(04-20-2015, 08:17 PM)misterdean Wrote: [ -> ]is there any way to run at 60fps with dolphin?
Someone would have to make a code for it. There isn't one as far as I know.
(04-20-2015, 08:17 PM)misterdean Wrote: [ -> ]does it run best with openGL or direct3D?
Depends on your graphics card, I think... But usually, the difference isn't especially big.
(04-20-2015, 08:17 PM)misterdean Wrote: [ -> ]how about HLE or LLE?
HLE has some accuracy problems in this game, but it's nothing that will hurt your ability to play the game. I recommend HLE because of its speed, but LLE would be good to use if your computer is fast enough to handle it.

You should use the most recent development build instead of 4.0.2. A recent update has gotten rid of the EFB2RAM requirement for this game, which improves performance, and there have been a lot of general performance improvements since 4.0.2 too. You will need to enable the Hyrule Field speedhack in the game properties, because otherwise Hyrule Field will lag a lot.
All right, so I just beat Goron Mines, and now Hyrule Field and the following Twilight area are slow. On D3D it runs at 27-28 FPS with noticeable slowdown, and I kept getting some "FIFO is overflown by GatherPipe ! CPU is too fast!" error. When I try OpenGL, the game runs at like 15 FPS. Everything up to this point has been running perfectly. I know this is a common issue, but everything I've seen dates this back to four or five years ago, and that it's since been fixed. I'm running the very latest build and I'm still getting the issue.

What should I do?

Thanks for any help.
Did you enable the Hyrule Field speedhack in the game properties?
Hey--what?

*right-clicks the game*

Well, there it is. Never knew that even existed. Thanks!
i am having difficulties today with the speed hack,
the speed hack works well on the GC version, but doesn't with the wii. there also seem to be showing up 2 versions of the hack which seem to be activated both at the same time, which is odd.

in essence, when the speed hack is enabled, the game gives a black screen and won't start. when it isn't enabled it's unplayable.

does anyone have an idea what the cause might be and how to solve it?

Disable one of them and try the game, then disable the other and reenable the first and try the game. Whichever one preforms faster for you is the one you should be using.

Alternatively, you can look up which is which, and choose the one appropriate to the version of TP you have.
There should not be two codes. Download the latest development version and put it in a new folder, not a folder where an older version of Dolphin has been.

Clearly I was not aware of what I was talking about. My apoligies.
i want to play with Ishiiruka direct3D11 cause i can run game at 8x resolution with AA and AF when fifo and async is enabled. the problem i am having is with the ghosting effect caused by bloom. i noticed if using openGL and uncheck store EFB copies to texture the ghosting goes away. but with 3D11 this option does not make the ghosting go away. how do i get rid of the ghosting with 3D11?
