I normally download the revisions as I like to test out progress but I now have a need to get stable versions. I see there is a 3.0 stable but running it looks like a very old version. For example the wiimote menu is small not the size of the revisions. How often is a stable release made?
It varys from time to time.
btw: Dolphin 4.0 is almost here

Dolphin 3.0 is old but still enough for most games.
Dolphin 4.0 is on the way...

I know I cant wait!!! I may just hold off then ( assuming 3.0 will eventually be close and stable at some point. ). When 4.0 is out will it be a tested stable release?
Will 4.0 allow weaker cpus (my amd fx 8150) run games better or am i still screwed lol
Try the latest development builds. They shouldn't be very different from what will become 4.0.

Im screwed then cause im using the latest build and most wii games just wont run 100% like SMG 1 and 2 and Zelda SS

Of course, your CPU is just too weak for SMG1+2

AMD FX is not recommended for Dolphin.
You guys teasing about 4.0 is getting me all excited. D:
I currently kind of stopped using Dolphin since 1 month to try out NullDC, I just got a DC BBA and got all hyped about DC emulation. Now I pretty much tested out most part of my library, its quite good now. The sad thing is that there doesn't seems to be much work done on it nowadays.
Can't wait for it, it'll get me all hyped for some beefy testing sessions again!

I think demul is still active. I talked to the dev sometime in 2011 to get my DC controller adapter supporting rumble. Pretty cool guy.
I agree this 4.0 teasing is not fair
