Quote:Which game are you talking about when you said the hash matched up but
still gave you a black screen? If you haven't combined the parts for
SSBB yet, then there's no way the hash should match, so I assume you're
talking about Skyward Sword since it's a single-layer disc. What was the
MD5 hash you got? Also, what do your Dolphin settings look like?

Also, here's my settings:

Is there a reason people fail to remember that dolphin can check if your dumps are good? XD
I've re-ripped SS about 10 times over with different settings, and I'm still getting the same black screen.
EDIT: I just ripped it in 1gb chunks and put them together with the command prompt, and now I don't get a black screen at launch anymore.
Just try the game with another revision. If it still doesn't work there's an issue with your iso

Probably because it's not one of Dolphin's more visible options; people already have enough trouble finding the Accurate VBeam Emulation option, you know :p Also, IIRC it only checks partition integrity on Wii games. I think I remember reading something about the commit that it's not always going to be correct. It would be a good first step though.
It verifies the game partition only. It is good enough to identify bad dumps that cause game crashes like the one in this thread.

Guess I misremembered that commit. I got the impression that it was sort of a "quick check" that wouldn't necessarily catch every case of a broken game partition :p
