The black is black and the greys are grey and everything looks like it should.
I'm guessing you either have eye problems or a badly calibrated monitor.

It's a personal preference indeed.
The old theme has more white though, which can be pretty straining when you're staring at the screen for a long time. Even worse when it's dark.

Ofcourse. But the others have to atleast give it a chance.
The new theme was added three days ago, which is plenty of time to get used to new locations of buttons.
Besides, it's not a big deal, it's just a one click more.

Just to be clear: I'm not against changes, feel free to suggest/change w/e you guys want, it's good to talk about things.

BTW, we've reimplemented ads on the forums. Any money we get from these ads will go directly to the developers. We don't technically need it (I can pay the hosting bills without getting money from ads, and we don't really know yet how to spend the additional money we'll get) but if you could disable adblock on forums.dolphin-emu.org, that would be a big help! Ads are text only and in a banner at the top of the page.

If you want to help us even more, click the Google +1 button near the top of the page. That way Google will know people like the new website.

There's default and simpl for me. Both are the new one.

Ye, apparently only admins may use it atm, and I'm exactly the only one using it xD

EDIT: btw, there's a good reason why it's restricted to admins atm. Some features aren't implemented there, yet, most notably wikified game threads don't get displayed properly and there are no ads.

As soon as I'll have figured out where to put them without destroying the design, probably.
