Hahahahaha. Good luck keeping that up.

We're sociologically programmed to be afraid of. Actually I should say socially programmed

I'm sorry but that's just wrong. Are lizards socially programmed to be afraid of death? How about monkeys?

We are biologically programmed to be afraid of death. The entire fight or flight response basically exists for that reason. It is a scientific fact.
When I went to junior college (JJC) I woke up at 5:30 everyday for two years. At NIU I had some leeway; it was at about 7:30. Now I wake up at 9:30/10, mostly because I go to bed at 2 A.M. Big Grin I still manage to get a lot done before work starts at 5 P.M. (really I leave at 4 since traffic makes getting to work take like 45 min).

I think that having a schedule makes me more aware of the day and what time it is, and where I need to be and what I need to be doing. When I was in school, obviously a week over there seemed to take longer than when I had a 6 month break after graduation. I was basically doing nothing, and a week felt like it could go by in a blink. It's psychological but simple, so I always set goals and times (though they're approximate and flexible) for most of my days. Makes it seem longer.

Science can't explain human behavior in modern civilizations. Philosophy, Psychology, Ethics, Spirituality can.
When I die the last thing I will see is a sign like this:

*waits for someone to say "YOLO"*
No it's better with YOLT, at least it's a good movie.

1. Psychology is a science. It uses the scientific method to come up with theories to explain behavior.
2. Ethics doesn't attempt to explain behavior, it attempts to rationalize what type of behavior should be considered moral.
3. Spirituality doesn't attempt to explain human behavior either.
4. Philosophy did at one time try to explain human behavior but it was basically replaced by psychology in that area and now focuses on other things.
5. Science is the dominant and only reliable way to explain human behavior. Biology (especially neurobiology and anantomy) helps explain the behavior of every creatures with nervous systems including primates such as humans. Psychology deals specifically with human mental functions.
6. Attempting to explain human behavior without science is like trying to put out a fire with gasoline.

More accurately put. We've yet to find anything better. There could be better methods of explaining human behavior (and other natural phenomenon) that are simply incomprehensible to us. Not saying it's likely or not, just that science is the best tool we have available. By a lot might I add.
I hold a belief that even though our physical self perishes along with death, our consciousness/sentient selves will live on and perhaps be re-incarnated into another biological life on this planet or even universe. What you do in this life could indirectly and adversely affect the outcome of you next life, that Karma follows you regardless of what physical body your consciousness possesses.
