Would that be "3.5-141" posted eight hours ago? I'll keep you posted. Thank you again for your hard work, and uh, about my past issues...well, I'll leave it in the past.
I'm playing in 3.5 205 now and I can confirm that the Flanoir issue is fixed. There's a smidge of slowdown in town, but no more crashes!
the custom projection hack to remove the blurring effect does not work for me. I'm using dolphin 3.5, my performance is great and so is the audio, for some reason that blur really bugs me though. when i check the custom projection box, and go to settings and select symphonia, i click ok, start game...still blurry, when i look back on custom projection settings, its reset back to "custom" preset instead of symphonia....someone please help me get rid of this blur!

Yeah, that's kind of a bug. But rest assured; if you're sure you set it to Tales of Symphonia, then it's using its presets.
The blurring effect does work, as you see in the screenshots on the wiki.
Could you take a screenshot of the issue?
Note that the Triet Desert/City areas won't be affected by the projection hack.

What's the minimum CPU to play this smooth?
I have an e8400 at stock 3.0Ghz and it doesn't seem enough. Just at the beginning of the game while in combat and in the dungeon it's fine. But in dialogue it can dip easily to 40FPS.
Could someone tell me especially if the game becomes more CPU intensive later on as more characters join and with more effects, or if I can expect more or less it to perform the same? I'm just trying to figure out if it's playable for me.
If you want better performance, you should overclock your CPU. Also make sure that you use the settings for best speed (link in my signature)
It's already like that. I just want to know if later on it gets worse or if the slowdowns are bothersome to play the game.
Right now the battles are smooth, and the game is playable even if I don't get max FPS.
AFAIK, the game doesn't suddenly get more demanding. Perhaps certain boss battles or areas are, but it should generally stay the same throughout the whole game. That's been my case thus far.
I found out that with frame skipping setting to 1 the emulator juggles between 60 and 30 fps depending on how much CPU it needs. And 30 fps is not bothersome. So this seems to make the game run overall better.
