Yes, the title screen menu does disappear, but this is really only a concern if you actually need to use the title screen (start a new game, etc). I don't use save states, so I always boot into the game normally. As soon as the title screen's music starts playing, I just keep hitting A. It should be set to Continue automatically, so I hardly ever miss the title screen menu. It's probably not something that can be fixed (aside from, you know, not using a hack :p) and it's very minor in my opinion. Though the Projection Hack does mess with other elements in the game, slightly (I've only come across a couple, minor issues as well).
Yeah, I just thought the devs should know, It can get REALLY annoying to get into options. This is the only problem ive had with the hack, which is good lol. It would be nice if there was a immediate fix, but Its not gonna kill me if there isnt.
Well, the thing is, it's a hack, so stuff is bound to break sooner or later. I don't think it's going to be on anyone's todo list anytime soon. It's not like the Projection Hack used in Skies of Arcadia, which is necessary to get the graphics working and showing up on-screen (the devs would want to fix it so that Dolphin doesn't need the hack, thus making Dolphin more accurate). The Projection Hack in ToS is used chiefly as an enhancement (removing DoF effects).
A better idea would be to do that with a patch/cheat instead of a projection hack.

Hmmm, excellent idea. Too bad I don't know much about AR for GC.
I'm sorry for not reading this thread thoroughly, as I am in a hurry. And since for some reason they won't let me create a new thread... But whatever.
Anyway, using Dolphin 3.5 with this game, the reason for the Iselia Ranch crash when you regain Kratos is obvious.
The scene that crashes is from Flanoir. Flanoir is VERY crash-heavy.
Therefore, my question is this
How would I configure my settings to bypass this? I'd prefer to use 3.5, since the newer revisions like to cause the sound to skip as well as the FPS.
The Flanoir crash is fixed in recent versions of the emulator.
Hello, I couldn't find any results so sorry if it has been answered before. I can't start a new game plus and am stuck on the credits screen. It makes it all the way to Produced Namco but after that nothing. I've tried 3 times now, both from save states and regular saves. I've had no problems so far, aside from occasional skits not playing out till the end. Thanks in advance.
Dolphin build - 3.5-367
Tales of Symphonia Ntsc
That Dolphin build you're using is from the old site, most likely, and it's pretty outdated at this point. Use the latest development builds here:
https://dolphin-emu.org/download/
Remember to copy+paste your memory card files from the old folder to the new one. The save states will be incompatible given the difference in revisions. Also, when you start a New Game+, don't you need to use Disc 1? I think that's the case, so make sure you're booting up Disc 1.

Thank you, I'm a dumbass.
