It may speed up games. Right click the game in your gamelist and go into "Properties". You'll find the option

If you want, send me a save from your memory card (upload the MemCardA.USA.raw file or whatever to someplace like Mediafire) and I'll see if I can reproduce the issue.
Hey, so i got another one with a save really near, this just happens in D3D11, to get it you just need to enter Tethe'alla Base

The fps drops to around 13 fps when I go into the character menu and stays there. I tried this in the D9 and D11 backend and it slows down regardless. Should I be using a specific dolphin build or be using specific settings to fix the fps at menus? I'm using build 3.5-1154, DSP HLE, Audio backend XAudio2, custom projection hack, and hi res textures. If you need any other info please let me know.

Also, if there are better settings than what I am using to help make the game run better I'd love to hear them.
The emulator already has issues with the games menus. For some reason it constantly keeps creating textures which slows down the menus.
With the high-res textures it will slow down to a crawl due to larger textures being used. Either remove the characters (a, b, c, d, e, f, g) textures or disable high-res texture entirely.
BTW the newest Revision fixed the Anime Movie sequences again(y i know there are only 3 or 4 including the ending but still), even the intro sequence from the first disk which always stuttered a little for me runs flawless so the game is pretty mutch perfect now.

Oh I didn't know it had issues with game menus. Just recently downloaded dolphin so I am still learning. I went ahead and deleted all the high-res textures for letters only and the menus now run at 60fps as well now. Tyvm for the advice Smile
I'm having a little problem with this game. If someone could help me, that'd be awesome. I wrote an issue here - https://code.google.com/p/dolphin-emu/issues/detail?id=6263&thanks=6263&ts=1366195839#makechanges

It's similar to the problem where people can't push/pull boxes in certain situations, however, it's a bit different, since it's not really a pushing/pulling problem, but just pressing a lever, I mean, the "A - Examine" action doesn't appear at all, when I get close to the lever, and this "fix" -

Quote:Cannot push/pull blocks in certain situations
This only happens if you're using a keyboard to play the game. To fix it, hold down the Main Stick Modifier key while moving towards the block to get a prompt to push/pull it.
The Main Stick Modifier key can be configured in the GCPad settings.

doesn't actually fix my problem, so I need a different solution. I've tried running the game in 3.0, with my save files, but the problem remains. I can post a save file, if needed, just let me know. Anyway, really need to fix this. I've put 30 hours into the game already, and I really don't want to start all over again.

In addition, I'd like to say that my joystick broke on me, about 10 hours into the game, and I've been playing on keyboard since then, I'm not sure if keyboard can cause problem such as this, but there, just to be sure, since this is the first time I'm playing on keyboard with emulator.

The game was running at 60 fps at almost all times, with no problems what so ever. This is the first issue that I'm having with it.
Yeh, link us to a zipped up version of your memory card file and provide instructions and screenshots on what to do. I'm guessing this would probably work if you would use a gamepad with analog sticks.
Here's the memory card

You can choose any of the 3 saves (once in the game), they're all the same, I tried saving to a different save slot, in hopes to fix this, but it didn't work. Anyway, as soon as you load, go back from the save circle, into the previous room, and up the stairs, there will be a machine with yellow levers, go close to the levers, and see if you'll get the "A - Examine" action on the bottom, left corner. (It doesn't appear for me, and it should, that's the issue)

Anyway, need to fix this to work with a keyboard, as I'm not planning on buying a new joystick. Holding the modifier button also doesn't fix the issue for me.

EDIT;
Just to add, at first, when I first got into this zone, the levers were working, I did the 1st room puzzle, and once I got to the 2nd room, with 2nd machine, I was able to get 1 box out of it, and after that, this issue started, and I couldn't get the "A - Examine" action anymore, to produce more boxes with the machine.
Are you referring to this machine?

If so, this is not an issue. You're simply done with that room. Move to the next room and use the machine there.

You should see a small cutscene showing you the next puzzle parts. The machine there works fine.
