Joshi, what build are you using? (Update your profile)
And what are your settings? I just tried the latest build (1101) with all three back-ends, and the outlines look good on my end.

Quote:if i get another scene i'll make a save state.
Save-states may, or may not work, so if possible, make a save before such an event and upload it for us so we can try it out.

I did notice that all three back-ends have issues with the GUI textures, particularly the messagebox.
(PS: Direct3D11 seems to work with Projection Hacks now)

PS:What is this back-end you guys are talking about? Because just like fade2black the blur in the buildings is gone but the characters in some cutscenes have a ghost.
Back-ends are Direct3D9, Direct3D11 and OpenGL.

Just downloaded build 1070 and used your settings and I can't reproduce the issue you have with the outlines with OpenGL.
Try the latest build. It contains some nice fixes from rodolvo (Direct3D9) in particular.

You should tick Widescreen Hack and always set Anisostropic Filtering to 16x.

Hmm... I'll have a look.

Ok thanks.
I'll settle with those for now, if i get anything else i'll report back.

What back-end are you using fade2black?
I am using OpenGL. I mean it doesn't happen in all in game scenes but its their in most of them.
Yeah, I saw what you meant. Unfortunately there's nothing we can do to fix it.
The Projection Hack removes the double image during normal gameplay, but in certain cutscenes/conversations the double image issue returns.
The only way to get it to look right at those times is to disable the Projection Hack. I wonder if there's a better way of getting rid it.
Right OK then. I'm not too worried about it. As long as the blurriness is gone from the background inside of towns is all that really matters to me anyways.
I have another problem with the game and it has to do with the sound. My sound setting is on LLE by the way. Anyways.. When the game does not run at a full 60fps the sound will stutter/skip. Even if it is running at 59fps it will stutter/skip. Its not a big deal but was wondering if their was a way around this without me turning down my settings to keep a full 60fps. At 60fps it plays the sound/music perfectly no stutter or skips whatsoever. Just when its at 59 or lower fps it does stutter and skip.

Should I try changing my audio settings? I thought LLE was the best? But...
LLE gives you the most accurate audio results. You should be able to play the game at fullspeed with that rig. Do you have LLE on Thread ticked?
But you don't really have to use LLE anymore since HLE seems to work very well now thanks to delroth, so give it a try!
iirc it was merged from 3.5-77x. Make sure you download the latest build.
OK so I downloaded the latest build (1103). I set it up with everything and when I loaded the game. There is no picture. The audio plays just fine and everything but there is no picture.... The screen is just black/blank.
