Both of them can overclock i5 3570k to 4.2GHz without an issue
Z77 supports multi graphic card ( in SLI or Crossfire ) , Z75 only support 1 graphic card . Z75 would be a better choice if you used no more than 1 graphic card
You can buy i5 3570K for 170$ (60$ cheaper than newegg) here :
