It's ok to be "different" but you're talking about plots that are clearly aimed at the intellectual equivalent of young teenagers. The stories used by these games are not designed for adults, and it clearly shows. Quite frankly the developers themselves don't hold them to a very high standard, as long as it's "passable" they don't care. You're literally the first person I've come across to say that either of those games have good stories. Crysis 2s plot is usually described as "horrible", "extremely confusing", or "a complete load of horse shit". I've seen plenty of people say that RE6s plot is ok but nobody has been able to honestly say that they though it was good. Step back for a minute and look at these stories objectively, what exactly did you think made them good?
Plots for teenagers but obvious violence for adults.
Adults can usually deal with easy violence and easy storylines.
Unfortunately this isn't always the case with the younger.
Here can be blamed this kind of games and ones who take advantage of this Wink
Quote:It's going to suck (the predator mode that is), mark my words. When the predators kill a cell the cell respawns as a predator. So the cells have to take down the predators really fast or they're fucked. I have no idea how they are going to balance this.

There are a few other games that have implemented the same style of multiplayer and it gets old really fast, plus it's insanely hard to balance.
That sounds fun to me.
In Crysis 2 it was pretty easy to spot the invisible enemies, so I'm guessing they'll be easy to spot here too.
If that's the case, they'll have to make the predators more invisible to balance it.

And yeah, I played Ghost Mode or w/e it was called in CrossFire, and that was pretty fun.
The invisible people had knives only though.

And you don't have to play this mode, it's there for when you want to.

Quote: I love when developers do this stuff. It just shows me that they're real people with a sense of humor, not mindless drones working for people who don't allow them to express their creativity (although a lot of times the two overlap).
Yeah, same. But unfortunately Crytek is going the wrong way now with their F2P(P2W) games...

I have always been different then everybody else. Wearing suit and tie since 14 years old, heck I'm almost 27 and still watch Spongebob on Nickelodeon. I honestly loved the plot in Crysis 2 & Resident Evil 6 and I will love the plot in Crysis 3 too, that's just me the different guy.

Next he's going to say that ME3 and FO3 were well written and left the viewer with a sense of satisfaction due to the appropriate resolution of plotlines.

Shonumi have you played either of them? Please do if haven't already. We can cry together over the slow death of creative science fiction writing.

EDIT:

I have never played ME3, but Fallout 3 I have completed many times. The story was not perfect but OK as I liked the game, however I liked Fallout New Vegas more since it's DLCs were ton better of improving the main story further.
Satisfied? Now go cry with Shonumi anyway Big Grin
This one still makes me laugh:
