I once used it and got only footsteps as expected, i then disabled it but i was still getting no BGM, after several trials of opening and closing dolphin, it suddenly just went back to normal by itself.

Useless. A patch is more or less a hack. You use it at your own risks. It may be helpful. It may cause issues. You can't expect it to be 100% effective
