Nerrel, why didnt you test 310.33 ? Its available for windows 8 too.
Just go to nvidia.com,click "drivers" and then "beta and older drivers"
I am talking about 30 fps increase here, not 3 fps

Ninjin, speedup is not only present in old revisions, its in every revision before 3.0-784.
Just very strange coincidence, any of devs can explain this ?
If nvidia wanted to improve dolphin perfomance,I am sure they would mentioned it in release notes

i had a few tests logged for each game and all of them were consistent with the same stable framerate, so i'm sure it's not just the cache clearing.

because i'm an idiot. i just looked for the most recent update and downloaded.
after the beta update i see no real improvement. i tested SMG2, muramasa, and skyward sword with 306.90 again and cleared the cache each time just to be sure. after updating i got the same numbers with 310.33, so it definitely does seem to do little good with the newer dolphin versions. SMG2 was the only game to change; it reverted back to the 65fps i had gotten originally, vs. 68 with the 306.97 driver. i did another test at the 2D intro of the game at 4xIR and got 36fps with 306.97 vs. 35fps with the beta. so in my experience.... the beta is slightly slower for SMG2 in new builds, but about the same as the current driver for everything else. i'm wondering if i should stick with it or go back to 306.97, since i mainly use the newest build.
