I think I am having that problem, the thing is, I tried the settings of, 4x IR, 16x AF and Safe but when I tried mario kart wii when the race started I only averaged 40 fps. When I tried to lower the settings it dropped to between 20-30fps on the menus.
Is there anything else I can do?
Did you try the official Dolphin 3.0 release?
Yeah, I have just tried that and it made no difference. One thing, I just checked Football Manager 2013 and it said my "3d rating" is only 1.5 of 5 stars. My radeon 2000 series in my PC is 2 stars so I'm slightly confused.
I just tried the lowest settings and its only 80% in the menus. That should not happen if it was using the 670M

this is unbearable. I can't even get through a menu at full speed. Something has to be wrong.
You're playing game on battery ? Please plug your power cable in ! Did you set power plan to "high performance" and restart windows ?
I did a complete re install of windows and updated to windows 8 and now it works perfectly after updating my drivers.s
