We're always glad to help. That's the reason why this forum is so helpful. Smile Enjoy your stay and feel free to ask, if you have any other questions.
He says we all like to help, but I'm sure he knows it will increase his post count, which is something greatly cared about by our high level users. Anyway, whyever we do it, it is good that us writing things has been useful to you. Feel free to have more problems anytime and get help from us (except basic ones which can be found with a forum search).
Would you say it would be worth me upgrading the CPU from an i7 3630QM to an I7 3740QM

I would have to sacrifice the 120gb ssd as well but I doubt that's too much of a problem

It's an extra £100 but they have changed a few things on the website so I can afford it now.
A CPU upgrade is always better, but it depends on your budget. If you can afford, get the better CPU Wink

It's worth every single cent . Just go for it if you can
How much of a difference would you say there would be?
Okay so finally my laptop will be arriving tomorrow! Can't wait to get dolphin up and running! I will keep you all posted on how it runs if you like
Nvidia 600 series is known for having idle issue with Dolphin (GPU clock speed is clocked at 200MHz when dolphin is runnning)
If your GPU have this problem , just pull "Texture Cache" slider (Dolphin - Graphic - Hack) between "safe" and "fast" or just set it to "safe" or use high settings to force that GPU : 4x Internal Resolution , no AA , 16 AF
You can check this thread for more info
Will do, cheers admin89
