Do you guys remember this?
It looked nice and all but I went back to Windows 7, Windows 8 wasn't that good anyway.

Yeah, I remember this Tongue

Anyway, maybe I'll upgrade my old Lenovo laptop to Windows 8.

FOR THOSE WHO MOVED ON FROM WINDOWS 8
I just installed Windows 8 on my machine as a second boot (since my dad I got a free license from Dell). First time I use 8 on non-virtual hardware. I must say it is fucking fast, and everything seems pretty stable so far. After you get used to it, it is just regular Windows tough, nothing magical.

But I do love what they done to Minesweeper Tongue

Ha ha looks like Indiana Jones or something.
So, any other reason besides Minesweeper to upgrade to 8? It boots up really fast as I've been reading, but other than that, programs that are not designed specifically for it should run just like before at its best, isn't it?
I've switched back to 7 after having spend a week with 8.
It boots faster, if you shutdown your PC and start it up again.
A restart won't make use of the hibernated kernel, so it's just like a normal restart.

Everything that works fine on previous Windows versions, like 7, should work fine on 8.
Either way, it's horrible and totally not worth it.
Yeah, that's what I thought from the beginning about 8. The sad thing about it is that sooner or later everyone will be using it. Just when M$ finally gives PC users a decent OS like Win 7, they totally ruin it. They should really keep copying Apple in terms of UI usability, there's no point on reinventing the wheel for desktop users.

EDIT: Actually, they should keep copying OS X, because iOS (also from Apple) was created for touch enabled devices and it's great at it.
Ugh, thats kinda what they did... they copied the ios.. to tha desktop :p lulz
Their idea it seems was to create a sort of 'universal OS' that will be used on both x86 and ARM machines.
