Hi there,

I just bought a new HTPC. The specs are in my signature. I am using the streacom fc5 case which is a low height case. I'm looking to run dolphin but realise I need a dedicated graphics card. My case has space for one but it'll be tight and I don't want a fan on the card. I was wondering if anyone could recommend a few cards that I could get (budget, mainstream etc) and what performance they could give me roughly. I don't mind spending a bit of cash but don't want to go buy a gpu that is then not going to be fully utilized due to my cpu bottlenecking the system.

Any help is appreciated.

Cheers

Unfortunately I don't think my case will take a double slot card, I can see tonight if it could be squeezed in but things are pretty tight in there to begin with.

Thanks for your reply tho
Post a picture of your case !
Fanless GPU has large heat sink . You should choose a GPU with fan

Similar layout to this setup. I have the same 3.5" hdd in that position but planning on moving to a NAS shortly

Take off the bracket , it will fit nicely
It has 2 fans though it's very silent
Other than that , i have no idea .

Cheers, I'll get my measuring tape out tonight see how much room I can get in there and work it out from there. I'll try for a 6670 with Ddr 5 and hopefully get 1080 out of the system. Cheers
