Save states in Dolphin pretty much suck. They are almost completely unreliable at times and cause more issues than they are worth.
So that is definitely the issue you were having. Just don't use save states anymore and you shouldn't see crashes.

This. Save states are unpredictable, so it could very well be the cause.

Lol, you are far too kind. I was very blessed with my school/work situation this summer, and it is my first PC build. There were some setbacks (I had to RMA my cards), but I seem okay now =) . If you can resist, wait for the 700 series or Einstein and I can say the same thing back at you lol.
