when i launch dolphin and try to open its window it doesn't appear on my desktop. i can see dolphin on the tool bar and in my task manager but it wont appear on my desktop. ive been able to use dolphin fine for the past few weeks until now and i cant think of anything could have done to cause this.
Try to redownload Dolphin.

i did that and it works now, but now none of the controls work for my games, ive tried reseting them but nothing seems to work.
I can't explain your controls not working, but I know that I had some problems on my laptop with Windows 7 hiding the window (most likely as a result of windows pager, an application that allows multiple workspaces). I just press the "Show Desktop" button in the bottom right twice and it shows up.
