I'm trying to set up my keyboard as my controller (Wiimote) for Dolphin, but for some reason it wont let me change the controls (like the a or b buttons)
So far the only button that works is my return button which is the wii home button. And i also want to use my trackpad to move the wiimote around but i dont know how.
The trackpad doesn't work as a mouse on OS X. It is a limitation of the inputs that a mouse can send on a Mac.

For the keyboard, try all of the different inputs with Keyboard in the name until one of them works.
But I'm also confused with the current controls once i figure out which keyboard. Like what is click 0? Because it doesnt work, but.click 1 does
The controls for Mac (and input names) are different than they are for windows, so you are better off clearing everything and remapping to a control scheme that suits you.
But the thing is idk how to put in my own controls on a Mac. I know you right/left/center clicking does different things like clear or test the controls but it doesnt work on my mac.
You should be able to left click on the box and then hit a key to map.
Yeah i tried that but instead of changing, whatever letter I click gets added into the keyboard/input text box. :|
I had a similar problem with key mapping software installed. Do you have anything like that? If so uninstall and try again.
I don't think I do, I'll try it again once I'm back on my laptop for my two hour bus ride haha. Also is there a way to use the emulated gamecube controller for a wii game or are you forced to use the wiimote? Thanks for your help btw.
Well if the Wii game supports GameCube controllers then yes (Brawl, for example, can use GC controllers fine, so emulated GC controllers work fine too).
