hi i am running on macbook pro OSX mountain lion. i installed dolphin today got it working perfectly i started up luigi's mansion. runs perfect. my friend went tried to set all rom files to load on screen while doing clicked show subfolder and boom freezes. restarted freeze on screen. i reinstalled still froze i installed oldest version of dolphin still freezes. every time. i cant do anything from the second the main window pops up.
im guessing its trying to find subfolders that dont exist or something. is there a way anyone knows to fix this? or a command tell the program to stop what ever action it is taking?

Click on the Desktop, then click Go > Go To Folder...
In the result, type:
Quote:~/Library/Application Support/Dolphin/Config
Open the file Dolphin.ini in TextEdit.
Toward the top there should be a line that says:
Quote:RecursiveGCMPaths = True
Change this to:
Quote:RecursiveGCMPaths = False
there is no dolphin file in /Library/Application Support/ what do i do :/

In your Dolphin folder go into User/Config/Dolphin
Woops, I mistyped. Here is the correct location of Dolphin.ini:
Go To Folder: ~/Application Support/Dolphin/User/Config
there is no dolphin folder in the library. so i cannot get the the file Dolphin.ini cause it isnt there.
i uploaded a pic showing my library/Application Support folder to show.

WHERE did you install Dolphin?
i just downloaded the program from this dolphin site version Dolphin-mac-v3.0-767.dmg. then opened it and dragged and dropped it into applications.

1- Uninstall (Delete) Dolphin
2- Download it again
3- Extract the archive in
Documents
4- Launch Dolphin.exe
not sure if you meant extract with an app or to mount the disk and drag the contents out into documents, so i did both.
with extracting it with the unarchiver app into documents i got, i file i couldn't open.
with mounting it and draging the cintents out into documents i got the app. i started it and it still froze exactly as it did before.
and the folder in application support did not appear after any of these actions.
